Een stukje van de nieuwe balie is letterlijk en figuurlijk al in zicht! In de hal van de TU Delft Library is een houten proefopstelling of mockup van een gedeelte van het ontwerp geplaatst. Het gaat hier om de voorkant van de balie, het gedeelte waar bezoekers bij binnenkomst in de hal tegenaan lopen. De mockup staat bij de trap onder de kegel.

Help ons kleur en materiaal kiezen!
Het idee van deze mockup is dat iedereen die dat wil alvast kan ervaren hoe hoog, breed en groot dit gedeelte van de balie is. Iedereen is van harte uitgenodigd om zelf te gaan kijken en om feedback te geven. De kleur en het materiaal van het definitieve ontwerp staan op dit moment nog niet vast. Op de mockup zie je tekeningen met het ontwerp van de gehele nieuwe balie zodat je alvast een beeld krijgt. Er ligt een vragenformulier om feedback te geven over het ontwerp.
Kom dus kijken en geef feedback! Lever het ingevulde formulier in bij de huidige balie.
 
Nieuwe balie komt in de lente
In april 2010 gaan we beginnen met het bouwen van de nieuwe balie op de plek waar de huidige balie zich nu bevindt. Tijdens deze verbouwing zal de mockup hoogst waarschijnlijk als tijdelijke balie fungeren.
 
Transformatie Library Learning Centre

Part of the new information desk is now literally and figuratively in sight! There is currently a wooden mock-up of the new design on display in the TU Delft Library hall. The section on display is the front of the new desk, the part that visitors see as they enter the hall. The mock-up can be found next to the stairs under the Cone.

Help us choose the colour and material!
The idea behind this mock-up is to give people an impression of how high, wide and large this section of the desk will be. Everyone is encouraged to have a look and give their feedback on the design. The final choice of colour and material has not yet been decided. Sketches of the proposed final design are posted on the mock-up to give you an impression of what it may look like. There are also feedback questionnaires for you to fill in. So, why not come and cast your eye over the new desk and tell us what you think! Please hand in the questionnaires at the old desk.
 
New desk planned for the spring
In April 2010, we will begin construction work on the new information desk in the same spot where the current desk now stands. The mock-up will most likely serve as a temporary desk during the construction period.
