Do you have white space in your agenda? Are you looking for nice, scientific events with network opportunities? And all for free? Keep on reading, because this week, the Dutch Testingday (6th of October) and Labtechnology (7th and 8th of October) are on!

Dutch Testingday (Nederlandse Testdag) – 6th of October 2015

The Dutch Testingday is an event where education, science and business meet to exchange ideas and insights about testing. The program offers multiple lectures, among which “Just ‘Google’ for flaws” and “Model-Based Testing for Web Applications”. You can follow four lectures in total and free lunch and drinks will be available during the breaks. The event is held in Eindhoven, at the High Tech Campus. For more information, check http://www.testdag.nl/!

Labtechnology – 7th and 8th of October 2015

Labtechnology is a free science fair in Utrecht. As the name suggests, it is aimed more at the ‘Labscientist’ than the engineer, but nevertheless worth considering. On the 7th and 8th of October, the newest, most high-tech lab developments are exhibited. Demonstrations are given on the newest working equipment. Also, lectures will be given about a range of topics, among which ‘Plastics and the environment’ and ‘Imaging X’. The event offers a business area where students and business can meet over drinks.
At the same time, on Saturday the 7th of October, The Analytical Challenge takes place. This congress covers topics about analytical chemistry. For students, both events are free and can be visited together. For more information and registration, take look at http://www.labtechnology.nl/!
