175 Days of celebration
Did you know that TU Delft will celebrate its 175th anniversary in 2017? The Dies Natalis (TU Delft’s birthday) in January 2017 will kick off 175 Days of Celebration, which will last until the International Festival of Technology in May/June. Within the theme ‘Technology for Life’ anyone, either students, staff or alumni and friends of the TU Delft, is invited to send in a proposal for the lustrum programme!
So if you have any ideas for an awesome anniversary event, don’t hesitate and send your proposal, in Dutch or English, before 1 April to Nienke van Bemmel.
For example, what would you think about..
…Organising an international research conference in the news TNW building?
…Building a pop-up ‘Biodome’ at the Mekelpark?
…Impressing Delft with a spectacular installation on domestic biotechnology?
…Winning a contest for brewing delicious alcohol free beer, using recycled water?
or helping to assemble the largest cortege of professors the TU Delft has ever seen?
Anything is possible, as long if your proposal includes an aim,key target audience, detailed description, list of people involved and a budget estimate.
