Update: Student Council Elections 2016-2017

The election for Student Council (SR) and Student Councils at faculty level (FSR) will only take place online, between Wednesday 18th May 2016 from 9.00 a.m. and Thursday 19th May 2016 until 5.00 p.m.

Starting from today until 23 March 2016, this year’s electoral registers can be found online at https://stem.tudelft.nl. Log in with your NetID and check if everything is in order for you to vote in May. If you encounter any problems logging in or your data is incorrect, contact your faculty’s Servicepunt.

This year the electoral registers for the election of Student Council (SR) members at institute level and for the election of members of the Student Council at faculty level (FSR) are printed out and may be consulted between 16th March 2016 and 23th March 2016 in the Central Election Committee’s office on the 5th floor of the Faculty Civil Engineering, Stevinweg 1, room 5.10. You can lodge objections about the electoral registers with the Executive Board: Stevinweg 1, 2628 CN Delft, up until one week after the names have been made known (i.e. until 5.00 p.m. on 23rd March 2016 at the very latest).

Want to run for office yourself? Every student who is entitled to vote can nominate him- or herself for the Student Council (SR) and Student Councils at faculty level (FSR). To take part in the elections you have to hand in a candidate list to the secretary of the election committee.

Your Student Council candidate list must be supported by at least 10 persons who are eligible to vote for the Student Council (SR) elections. For the Student Councils at faculty Level it has to be supported by at least 5 persons who are entitled to vote for the Student Councils at faculty level (FSR). Every candidate has to fill in a written declaration of consent, in which she or he accepts her/his nomination on the candidate list.

You can pick up the candidate proposition forms from the relevant central or facultative election committee (see overview below) starting today! The deadline for the submission of your candidate list is 5.00 p.m. on Wednesday30th March 2016. Please beware that you have to hand in your lists for both the SR and FSR elections personally.
