How to: Do’s and don’ts during exams

ExamNetpresenter-final-klein-(2)

Before you read any further, first a quick check: Have you registered for you exam?

Okay, now that you have, you might have noticed during previous exams or during your central exams at high school: they’re a serious thing! We love to help you out so we made this small illustration about things you should keep in mind while making  your exams.

Now they might seem obvious but, for instance, did you know that when you do not turn your phone completely off, you could be seen as committing fraud? Better to avoid that risk altogether. And if you have any brothers or sisters you can definitely relate to this one: hearing someone eat noisy foods is so annoying!

TU Delft Student News presents: Exam Etiquette

Please, do:

  • Be on time (exam hall opens 15 min before start of the exam)
  • Scan your campus card and put it on your table (the inviligators will check it)
  • Turn your phone and other mobile devices completely off and put them in  your bag
  • Use a pen instead of a pencil
  • Write your name on every page of the exam
  • Be quiet when you leave the exam hall (do not disturb your fellow students)

Definitely don’t:

  • CHEAT!
  • Talk
  • Disturb other students by making noise. So no eating delicious but crunchy potato crisps for instance.

Now you know what to do and not to do during your exams. If you want to know more about fraud and how the university deals with fraud and plagiarism, check out the fraud website.

Good luck with your exams everybody!
