Tentoonstelling geschiedenis studentenprotesten / Exhibition history student protests

Geïnteresseerd in studentenprotesten van 1945 tot nu toe? Van 10 tot en met 21 februari maken we deze protesten inzichtelijk in de vorm van een tentoonstelling onder de naam ‘Delftse Lente’.

Theaterstuk en tentoonstelling

De Studievereniging Stylos van de faculteit Bouwkunde bestaat 24 jaar en viert dat lustrum met een theaterstuk ‘Delftse Lente’ en een tentoonstelling met dezelfde titel. Als voorproefje op het theaterstuk zal de tentoonstelling alvast te zien zijn in de TU Delft Library.

Foto’s en archiefstukken

De tentoonstelling is in 3 schalen opgebouwd, elk met hun eigen kleur: Nederland en de Westerse wereld, Technische Hogeschool Delft en de faculteit Bouwkunde. De achtergrondinformatie wordt van een breder tijdsspan weergegeven dan alleen de tijd in het theaterstuk. In het historische onderzoek voorafgaand aan het schrijven van het script stuitten we op veel foto’s en archiefstukken die deze geschiedenis voor u vertellen. De tentoonstelling zal eerst te zien zijn in de TU Delft Library, vervolgens in de Oostserre van de faculteit Bouwkunde (tevens de theaterzaal waarin ‘Delftse Lente’ wordt uitgevoerd, tijdens de speelweek) en als laatste in de bibliotheek van de faculteit Bouwkunde van de TU Delft.

Play and exhibition

Architecture’s faculty study association Stylos celebrates its 24 year anniversary with a play called ‘Delft Spring’ and a similarly titled exhibition. As a preview to the play, the exhibition will take place in the TU Delft Library.

Pictures & documents

This exhibition will be built up in these three scales: The Netherlands and the Western world, the TU Delft and the faculty of Architecture. This exhibition gives the background information about a broader timespan than only the 60ies and 70ies. A period that might be called the ‘Western spring’, because of the protests and rebellions in the Western world. During the historic research we did for the play we found a lot of pictures and documents that will tell the complete history. The exhibition will firstly be shown in the TU Delft Library, during the performance week it will be exhibited in the orange hall of the faculty of Architecture and afterwards it will go the BK-library of the faculty of Architecture.
