Energy Club organizes Masterclass European Energy Policy
In the framework of the European elections the Energy Club organizes a masterclass European energy policy on Monday, May 19th 15:00 – 18:30 Room A, TPM faculty.
With this masterclass the Energy Club wants to provide students with more insight into the European Energy Policy and what this policy means for the energy sector. In addition, they will provide the four speakers with fresh, open and innovative ideas of students.
The masterclass will cover Energy Policy both broad and specific. First, the institutional context of the European Union will be sketched and an overview of the European Energy Policy topics will be given. The main part of the masterclass will focus on the translation of EU policy to national policies, the role of research in policy development and applications of EU Energy Policy in industry. The guest speakers are the director of FOM, Ingo Bunzeck from ECN, Aart Dekkers (Ministery of Economics Affairs) and Martijn Groenleer, Assistant Professor of Public Policy at TPM faculty.
