DUT Racing is looking for new members to be part of the 2014-2015 team
We are a team of approximately 80 students that builds an electric race car for the formula student competition. This is a student engineering competition where you will design, build and race a formula styled vehicle. We have the world record acceleration for an electric car (0-100 km/h in 2.13 s) and have won the biggest European formula student Competition 4 times in a row.

Wat is het Mystery Object? / What is the Mystery Object?
Wat is dit?
In het Library Learning Centre staat weer een ‘Mystery Object’ met prijsvraag. En we hebben deze keer weer een gastjurylid: Lesley Robertson van TNW. De wedstrijd is geopend tot en met maandag 23 juni 2014.
Weet jij…. wat dit is?
Doe dan mee met de prijsvraag! Gepensioneerd TU-wetenschapster en curator van het Beijerinck museum, Lesley Robertson (TNW), heeft het Mystery Object uitgekozen voor deze prijsvraag. Met haar vakkennis zal zij als gastjurylid de ingeleverde antwoorden beoordelen op juistheid, volledigheid en op de duidelijkheid van de bijbehorende uitleg. De winnaar krijgt een Dolce Gusto koffiemachine.
Uittreerede Cultural Professor Paulien Cornelisse (in Dutch)
Op donderdag 5 juni neemt Paulien Cornelisse afscheid als Cultural Professor 2014 en houdt haar uittreerede. Verder staan deze avond natuurlijk haar masterclass-studenten centraal, die hun werkstukken over het thema ‘De Wonderkamer’ presenteren. Je bent van harte welkom in de Aula op donderdag 5 juni vanaf 20.00 uur.

VOORLOPIGE UITSLAG VERKIEZINGEN SR
Bij de voorlopige uitslagbepaling op 23 mei 2014 van de verkiezingen voor de Studentenraad op instellingsniveau, gehouden op 21 en 22 mei 2014, heeft de Centrale Verkiezingscommissie de navolgende kandidaten voorlopig gekozen verklaard:
Academische Jaarindeling 2014-2015 gereed / Academic Calender 2014-2015 is ready
In het huidige collegejaar 2013-2014 zijn we met de laatste maanden bezig. De zomervakantie is alweer in zicht. Iedereen gaat zo langzamerhand bezig met de planning voor het komend jaar, vandaar dat we je graag willen informeren over de nieuwe academische jaarindeling voor collegejaar 2014-2015. Je kunt hem hier vinden. Erg handig om te weten wanneer de eerste collegedagen en de vakantiedagen zijn.
