Pulse: Meer ruimte voor nieuwe onderwijsvormen /Pulse: More room for new teaching formats
De TU Delft gaat een nieuw gebouw realiseren, dat ruimte biedt voor nieuwe onderwijsvormen: Pulse, de afkorting van Practise, Unite, Learn, Share & Explore. Een gebouw waar studenten en docenten van de TU Delft ruimte krijgen om elkaar te ontmoeten en kennis en ervaringen met elkaar te delen.
Delft Moves zoekt bevlogen types
Het Delft Moves team is op zoek naar dansers en techneuten die als vrijwilliger willen bijdragen aan de nieuwe voorstelling ‘A Dark Flirt with Gravity’ van choreograaf David Middendorp.

Engineering for Sustainable Development goes Texel
Thinking of Sustainability or Making it happen?
This was the teaser question used to get the attention of all Master students at Delft University of Technology to sign-up for the course of Engineering for Sustainable Development (a compulsory course for students who want to receive the Technology in Sustainable Development annotation to their TU Delft degree certificate).
‘All students count’: Alexandru Iosup Dutch Teacher of the Year!
Alexandru Iosup, lecturer at the faculty of Electronic Engineering, Maths and Computer Sciences (EEMCS), was named Dutch Teacher of the Year on Saturday 17 January. This title is awarded by the Interstedelijk Studenten Overleg (Inter-City Student Consultation, or ISO) to a teacher who is known for his or her involvement, passion and innovative teaching methods. This rings true for Alexandru and his motto ‘all students count’, according to the jury.

TUSExpo ready to take off in three weeks
TUSExpo, in co-operation with The Hague Security Delta, is ready for the start of the first fully integrated Unmanned Systems trade show and conference in Europe which takes place from 4 until 6 February at the World Forum, The Hague. You can register now and visit the exhibition for free.
The whole supply chain of the Unmanned Systems industry will be represented and visitors will have the opportunity to meet any company from component suppliers and software developers to service providers and integrators. Among the companies present will be Aerialtronics, NLR, Explicit, Airwaire, ESP and EUROUSC. The line-up for speakers at TUSE Conference is complete and a full conference programme is available. The programme covers all sectors of the industry including Agriculture, EU Legislation, Oil & Gas, and Safety & Security.

Je inschrijving wordt nooit automatisch beëindigd. Je betaalt collegegeld tot en met de laatste maand waarin je ingeschreven staat. Schrijf je dus zo snel mogelijk uit!
Er kan niet met terugwerkende kracht worden uitgeschreven.
Voor afstudeerders betekent dit: schrijf je uit in de maand dat je afstudeert. Je hoeft niet tot na het afstuderen te wachten; het verzoek tot uitschrijven kan ook in de weken ervoor worden ingediend.

Schrijf je snel in
Met deze cursus leer je in vijf avonden werken met de Adobe-programma’s Photoshop, Indesign en Illustrator. De cursusdata zijn maandag 2, 9, 16, 23 februari en 2 maart 2015. De cursus kost € 60 en is uitsluitend voor studenten. Je kunt alleen inschrijven als je direct betaalt.
Looking for a place to study? Aula is also available for study purposes.
In the weekends during the exam period the Library is a busy place. The Aula is a good alternative. On the first floor is a quiet study area with more than enough power points and fast WiFi. You can also use the canteen and the entrance hall of the Aula, for instance for group or project work.

’Let’s Talk Solutions, lecture #1′, an AMS event on 15 January
AMS, the Amsterdam Institute for Advanced Metropolitan Solutions, in cooperation with the Centre for Urban Studies (UvA), is organising a series of lectures, starting on 15 January at 4 PM. The lectures are free, and open to anyone with an active interest in current and ongoing developments in the field of Urban Studies and complex urban issues.
