The Proof of Enrolment (or ‘Bewijs van Inschrijving’ in Dutch) is your official  document stating your enrolment type and -period at TU Delft. Every student who has a completed enrolment receives a Proof of Enrolment. This Proof of Enrolment will be sent to your Studielink correspondence address when you live in The Netherlands, Belgium, Germany or Luxembourg. It contains a handy press-out part with all your details. Press it out and keep it safely in your wallet!

We send them out in weekly batches, depending on the status of your enrolment you can expect to receive your Proof of Enrolment after 5 September 2016.

We hope you enjoyed your holidays. Traveled the world maybe, enjoyed the sun (and the rain if  you stayed in The Netherlands). Most importantly of all: did you not think about your studies for some weeks? No? Well we did! But now the academic year is once again about to start and we have some interesting things that we would like to share with you:

1. My TUDelft app

Right when the holidays started, the TU Delft finished it’s app for mobile devices! We wrote a small post about it then, but want to point it out to you once again, because it is so darn handy. In one quick overview you can see your upcoming activities, your schedule and your latest results. So don’t hesitate and quickly download it from the app store or google play!

2. New food at our campus

The university is working on new food and beverages offerings on campus. This summer the food market in the Fellowship and the Coffee-star in the library (re)opened! The Coffee-star has grown and offers you more spaces to take a seat and enjoy your drink, panini or healthy snacks! The Foodmarket in the fellowhip, in the southern part of our campus, houses three new places to serve you your breakfast, lunch and diner! La Casa Kitchen, serves honest and delicious mediterranean food, a Satebar serves you the best Indonesian dishes and at Soep&Ballen you can enjoy organic dishes made following old-fashioned recipes.

3. New Applied Sciences building in use

The new building for the Applied Sciences faculty at the south side of the campus is finished and already in use. Lots of departments have taken their place in the bright and shiny new environment designed by Ector Hoogstad Architects. If you haven’t been there yet it is definitely worth a visit.

Have you registered for academic year 2016/2017 yet? Make sure you are fully registered before September 1^st, 2016, because enrolment after September is not possible and retroactive registration is prohibited by law.

For a completed enrolment it is necessary to arrange the payment of the tuition on time. Please make sure that you confirm your digital authorization. See our website for more information. You can check the status of your registration in Studielink under ‘My Enrolments’.

Ben jij naast alle algebra en theorie toe aan een beetje creativiteit? Zet je linkerhersenhelft aan het werk in de masterclass van de nieuwe Cultural Professor van de TU Delft! In verschillende masterclass bijeenkomsten van oktober tot december zal Griet Op De Beeck samen met studenten een staalkaart van de Delftse bevolking tot stand brengen.

Het thema van dit jaar is Delft. Studenten gaan de stad in om uiteenlopende locaties met Delftenaren in gesprek gaan en die ze later al schrijvend zullen portretteren. Zo komen ze tot een divers en fascinerend beeld van hun stad. Als tegenprestatie voor de verhalen die zij krijgen, maakt elk van de studenten op zijn of haar beurt een zelfportret (gedicht, tekening, foto) voor de Delftenaar. Bij de masterclass hoort ook een excursie op 8 en 9 oktober naar Gent en de gevangenisvan Oudenaarde. In de gevangenis maken de studenten kennis met de gedetineerden en hun verhalen.

Geen tijd voor de hele Masterclass, maar ben je wel geïnteresseerd in wat Griet te vertellen heeft? Er ook openbare bijeenkomsten op vrijdag 7 Oktober en 16 December. Studenten van de TU betalen €5,-. Voor meer informatie, bezoek tudelft.nl/cp2016.

Elk jaar kiest TU Delft een cultural professor voor een serie masterclasses. Het doel is elk jaar anders en varieert van een studie naar fotografie tot een standbeeld maken. Het thema wordt gekozen door de cultural professor zelf. De afgelopen jaren waren dit bijvoorbeeld Pauline Cornelisse, Spinvis en Thom Hoffman.
