Grand Opening VR Zone – Library
Do you want to experience or learn how to build Virtual or Augmented Reality? Or do you want to experiment with VR and AR in education or science? You will be able to do all of this in the VR Zone at the TU Delft Library.
The VR Zone will be festively opened by Vice Rector Magnificus Professor Rob Mudde and the Student Council on Tuesday, 26 February, from 16:00 till 19:00. Please register here for attendance. Experience the immersive impact, understand the historical context of VR at this university and meet a different world. All of this while having a snack and a drink at the grand opening of the VR Zone in the TU Delft Library.
What to expect in the VR Zone?
The VR Zone has a dedicated staff to help students, lecturers and researchers build VR/AR and is equipped with more than ten state of the art headsets and workstations with all the required software installed.
For whom?
Students from TU Delft can use these facilities and support for graduation or other educational projects free of charge on a reservation basis. Lecturers and researchers can experiment with the numerous possibilities of VR and AR free of charge. They can also order dedicated VR/AR content for their own education or research or request a workshop or VR class to learn how to make their own content at a friendly hourly rate.
