Win an instax mini in the education photo contest. 📷

The photo competition is a great opportunity for you to portray, in a creative manner, how you visualize education for a rapidly changing future. What skills should students develop? How should education look like? What should the role of lecturers be?

Photos, like our rapidly changing society, are visual, fluid and unique in the stories they tell. Express your visual perceptions: you are the lens through which education is viewed. The winning photo will receive a fantastic Fujifilm Instax Mini!

The deadline for the competition is 14 October, 2019. Submit your picture: teachingacademy@tudelft.nl. Click here for more information.

Inspiring Dialogues 8 October, for students by alumni

The Alumni Relations Office and Studium Generale are hosting a series called Inspiring Dialogues: interactive interviews with renowned TU Delft alumni that will give you, the students, a chance to meet and talk to inspiring people that will help you skyrocket your career!

After two successful sessions, we continue the series with Allerd Stikker on Tuesday 8 October 2019! Allerd Stikker studied chemical engineering at Delft University of Technology and occupied top positions in the corporate world for a period of 30 years.

After that, the next 35 years were devoted to explore the inseparable connection between economy, ecology, and technology and its practical implications for business and government policies. This includes analysing the positive and negative impact of technological innovations on the health of the planet and of society; providing useful guidelines for innovative engineers in the perspective of evolution.

During this interview Allerd hopes to inspire you with his experience and knowledge in this field. It goes without saying that there’s room for questions and free lunch, so come join us and prepare to be inspired!
