In this series of seven interactive lectures, Studium Generale will tackle the issue head on and offer you some tools to spot when we are being manipulated through mental trickery. Join these lectures and inoculate yourself against fake news, logical fallacies and other manipulations, and become a beacon of independent, rational and critical thought!

Rob Mudde answers students’ questions
Why are different universities handling regulations differently? Why have tuition fees stayed the same, though the method of education has changed? Why have exchange programmes been cancelled? Students have many questions for the University.
In the following videos, Rob Mudde, Vice-Rector Magnificus, answers several questions from students. In video 1 he explains about the start of the academic year, COVID regulations and the quality of online education. In video 2, he answers questions including topics like minors, exchange programs, internships and financing.
Student campaign to contain Corona
Yesterday, a student campaign started in which the Delft student associations jointly address all students about their responsibility with regard to Corona, with the aim of preventing further contamination and thus ensuring that the city does not enter complete lockdown.
Read the campaign letter and see their poster with guidelines to contain Corona.

Increase of COVID-19 cases in Delft city
It is now the second week of the new academic year and we are happy to offer a mix of online and on-campus education for everyone.
At TU Delft, we have adopted various measures to create a safe study- and work environment, in accordance with the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM) guidelines. As you may have heard, the number of positive COVID-19 cases in the city of Delft have increased in the past days. We therefore urge you to strictly follow the general rules of conduct and, above all, to keep a 1.5 m distance from each other at all times. It’s easy to fall into our regular patterns, especially in social situations, new places, or when thinking about other things (like a new class!). Remembering to keep to the restrictions that have been put in place can be difficult, but they’re necessary to ensure the campus is as safe as possible.

What to do if you or your housemates have symptoms?
If you or one of your housemates have symptoms, get tested! Until your test results are back, observe strict isolation and do not come to the campus under any circumstances, no matter how inconvenient it may be. Read more
For information regarding COVID-19 measures please go to: www.tudelft.nl > coronavirus > students
By following the measures, we can work together to help keep students and employees safe and healthy!
Don’t forget to unenrol after the final part of your study
Have you completed the final part of your study? Please be aware that you need to send a request to terminate your enrolment through Studielink as it will not be done automatically. Tuition fees need to be paid up to and including the last month of your enrolment. Enrolment termination with retroactive effect is not possible.
