This academic year resits will take place in week 5.3 (Monday 15 July to Friday 19 July). Results will be announced no later than Friday 5 July. You can register for the summer resits up to 6 calendar days before the exam. There is no waiting list. However, you can register for the last minute procedure.

If you decide not to take the exam, cancel your registration.
This will avoid unnecessary booking of rooms and invigilators. It also avoids unnecessary printing of exams.

The province of South Holland will carry out major maintenance on the Kruithuis bridge starting from 5 July 2024. Coming to campus by bike? Prepare your trip well! The bike/pedestrian path will be closed to cyclists and pedestrians from July 19 to August 26. You can use the Abtswoudse bridge or travel by train to Delft railway station and travel to campus from there. Coming by car? The bridge is sometimes partially and sometimes completely closed to car traffic during maintenance.

Groot onderhoud Kruithuisbrug

De provincie Zuid-Holland voert vanaf 5 juli 2024 groot onderhoud uit aan de Kruithuisbrug. Kom je met de fiets naar de campus? Bereid je reis goed voor! Het fiets-/voetpad is van 19 juli tot 26 augustus 2024 afgesloten voor fietsers en voetgangers. Je kunt gebruik maken van de Abtswoudsebrug of de trein nemen naar station Delft en vanaf daar naar de campus reizen. Kom je met de auto? Tijdens het onderhoud is de brug soms gedeeltelijk en soms helemaal afgesloten voor autoverkeer.

Open horecalocaties tijdens zomerperiode

Tijdens de zomerperiode van 1 juli tot 30 augustus zijn meerdere horecalocaties geopend voor een heerlijke lunch, snack of kop koffie. Per 2 september zijn alle horecalocaties op de campus weer geopend volgens reguliere openingstijden. Bekijk het aangepaste rooster hieronder.

Every year, the team of confidential advisors, the ombuds officer for staff and the ombuds officer for students each submit a report on their work in the past calendar year. These reports contain figures, e.g. on the number of conversations they have had, but also information on notable developments and any recommendations for TU Delft. Confidential advisors
The team of confidential advisors is a low-threshold facility for students, employees and guests of TU Delft who are faced with possible integrity violations such as bullying, discrimination, potential conflicts of interest or suspicions of scientific fraud. You can choose which confidential advisor you would like to contact. More information is to be found on the TU Delft Student Portal, including a link to contact details of all confidential advisors. Ombuds officer for students
You can contact the ombuds officer for students, Carin Wensveen, if you run into problems within the university that you cannot resolve yourself via, for example, your student advisor or the Central Complaints Desk. Ieder jaar leveren het team van vertrouwenspersonen, de ombudsfunctionaris voor personeel en de ombudsfunctionaris voor studenten elk een verslag op over hun werk in het afgelopen kalenderjaar. Hierin vind je cijfers terug, bijvoorbeeld over het aantal gesprekken dat zij gevoerd hebben, maar ook informatie over opvallende ontwikkelingen en aanbevelingen voor de TU Delft. Vertrouwenspersonen
Het team vertrouwenspersonen is een laagdrempelige voorziening voor studenten, medewerkers en gasten van TU Delft die te maken krijgen met mogelijke integriteitsschendingen zoals pesten, discriminatie, potentiële belangenconflicten of vermoedens van wetenschappelijke fraude. Je kunt zelf kiezen tot welke vertrouwenspersoon je je wendt voor ondersteuning. Op de Studentenportal vind je meer informatie, inclusief een link naar de contactgegevens van alle vertrouwenspersonen. Je kunt ook veelgestelde vragen bekijken en meer lezen over het integriteitsbeleid van de TU Delft.

Ombudsfunctionaris voor studenten
Bij de ombudsfunctionaris voor studenten, Carin Wensveen, kun je terecht als je binnen de universiteit aanloopt tegen problemen die je zelf niet opgelost krijgt via bijvoorbeeld je studieadviseur of het Centraal Klachtenloket. Meer informatie en contactgegevens vind je op de Studentenportal van TU Delft of op de website. Daar staan ook veelgestelde vragen.

To provide you with the best mailing experience, TU Delft is migrating from a local Exchange server to Exchange Online. A+BE and CEG faculties have now migrated, with all other faculties following in July. Before your mailbox is transferred, you will be informed by email. A number of things change as a result of the transition.  

The most important change for you is that you access your Webmail via a new url: outlook.office.com. Once your mailbox is migrated, the old url will no longer work. If you experience other issues due to the transition to Exchange Online, check the FAQ.

Nieuwe link Webmail door overgang naar Exchange Online 

Om je de beste mailervaring te bieden, migreert TU Delft van een lokale Exchange server naar Exchange Online. De faculteiten BK en CiTG zijn inmiddels gemigreerd, alle andere faculteiten volgen in juli. Wanneer jouw mailbox aan de beurt is, word je hier vooraf per e-mail over geïnformeerd. Door de overgang veranderen er een aantal zaken.  

De belangrijkste verandering voor jou is dat je je Webmail via een nieuwe url bekijkt: outlook.office.com. Zodra je mailbox gemigreerd is, werkt de oude url niet meer. Loop je tegen andere zaken aan door de overgang naar Exchange Online? Bekijk de FAQ.

During the exam period TU Delft facilitates extra opening hours to study at the Fellowship. The Library, Echo and Pulse are also available with regular opening hours from 08:00AM to 00:00AM, also in the weekends. Cafes also have extended opening hours so you don’t have to go hungry while you study.

XXL openingstijden studiefaciliteiten tijdens de tentamenperiode

Tijdens de tentamenperiode faciliteert de TU Delft extra openingstijden om te studeren bij de Fellowship. De Bibliotheek, Echo en Pulse zijn ook beschikbaar met reguliere openingstijden van 08:00 uur tot 00:00 uur, ook in het weekend. Ook de horeca heeft verruimde openingstijden zodat je geen honger hoeft te hebben tijden het studeren.

Have you completed the final part of your study? Please be aware that if you want to terminate your enrolment, you need to send a request through Studielink as it will not be done automatically. 

Your enrolment can be terminated from 01 July or 01 August however, you will not receive a refund of tuition fee for the months of July and August.

Enrolment termination with retroactive effect is not possible.

Be aware! If you are not enrolled and you still use educational or examination facilities (including taking exams) there will be financial consequences. It can also affect your student grants and/or student travel product.

From 17 January to 10 March, students were once again able to take part in the National Student Enquête (NSE). The NSE is a large-scale national satisfaction survey in which students give their views on their higher education programmes and institutions. The results of the survey have been published today.

Student satisfaction with engineering and law courses has increased in recent years, according to the Nationale Studenten Enquête. Nearly 268,000 students participated in the survey. Overall, student satisfaction rose slightly from 71.5% in 2021 to 73.4% in 2024. Specifically for engineering, satisfaction rose from 69.8% to 73.5%, and for law from 69.1% to 74.5%. Students particularly value the atmosphere and feeling of safety in their courses. The percentage of students who feel safe to be themselves remains stable at around 85%. The results will be used for guidance and to improve teaching.

Resultaten Nationale Studenten Enquête 2024 bekend

Afgelopen 17 januari t/m 10 maart konden studenten weer meedoen aan de Nationale Studenten Enquête (NSE). De NSE is een grootschalig landelijk tevredenheidsonderzoek waarin studenten hun mening geven over hun hbo- of wo-opleiding en onderwijsinstelling. Vandaag zijn de resultaten bekend gemaakt die uit het onderzoek zijn voortgekomen.

De tevredenheid van hbo- en wo-studenten over opleidingen in de sectoren Techniek en Recht is de afgelopen jaren gestegen, blijkt uit de Nationale Studenten Enquête. Bijna 268.000 studenten namen deel aan dit onderzoek. De algemene tevredenheid van studenten is licht toegenomen van 71,5% in 2021 naar 73,4% in 2024. Specifiek voor Techniek steeg de tevredenheid van 69,8% naar 73,5%, en voor Recht van 69,1% naar 74,5%. Studenten waarderen vooral de sfeer en het zich veilig voelen op hun opleiding. Het percentage studenten dat zich veilig voelt om zichzelf te zijn, blijft stabiel rond de 85%. De resultaten worden gebruikt voor studiekeuzevoorlichting en om het onderwijs te verbeteren.

AccessAbility Week 2024

Wist jij dat meer dan 13 procent van de TU Delft studenten een ondersteuningsbehoefte heeft als gevolg van een beperking, chronische aandoening of neurodivergentie? Dit kan hun studie in meer of mindere mate belemmeren. In 2018 heeft de TU Delft de intentieverklaring VN-verdrag inzake de Rechten van Personen met een Handicap ondertekend. De TU is vastbesloten om een universiteit te worden die voor iedereen toegankelijk is en die mensen samenbrengt in een rijke en diverse werk- en studieomgeving, met gelijke kansen voor iedereen. We zijn ons bewust dat dit werk in uitvoering is. Deze ambitie vraagt om moed, samenwerking en betrokkenheid van ons allemaal, inclusief jou. 

Van 3 tot 6 juni organiseren Horizon en Student Onbeperkt de AccessAbility Week om aandacht te vragen voor studeren met een beperking, chronische aandoening, neurodivergentie en andere ondersteuningsbehoeften.
