In tentamenperiode extra studieplekken Aula / Extra study area in Aula during exam period

Gedurende drie weekenden in maart/april extra studieplekken in de Aula van de TU Delft

Tijdens de tentamenperiode in maart en april zijn er in de weekenden weer extra studieplekken in de Aula. Naast de XXL openingstijden van de bibliotheek zal in de komende tentamenperiode. de Aula van de TU Delft in de weekenden van  29/30 maart, 5/6 april en 12/13 april 2014 van 8.00 uur tot 20.00 uur, worden opengesteld en ingericht als extra studieruimte.

Of het nu gaat om een studieplek waar ook ruimte is voor overleg (restaurant), een rustige plek om te werken (hal en foyer) of even ontspannen met een kop koffie of thee, de TU Delft  biedt je alle nodige faciliteiten als werkplek, netwerk, printer etc., om optimaal te kunnen presteren. Ook ondersteuning vanuit het Servicepunt in de Library is binnen handbereik.

Tijdens de tentamenperiodes is de bibliotheek van de TU Delft vaak overbezet. De TU Delft vindt echter dat de universiteit een plek zijn waar studenten zich optimaal kunnen voorbereiden op hun tentamens en wil hier graag extra faciliteiten voor moeten bieden.

Vanwege de nabijheid en de aansluiting met de Library wordt de Aula, gedurende deze weekenden in maart/april beschikbaar gesteld voor studenten die een plek zoeken waar ze zich voor kunnen bereiden op een tentamen. Vanwege de beheersbaarheid, beveiliging en financiële aspecten blijven de faculteiten in deze weekenden gesloten.

Extra study area in Aula building during three weekends in March/November

An extra study area will be available again in the Aula building during the weekends of the exam period in March and April. In addition to the library’s XXL opening times, extra studying facilities will be created in the Aula building during the coming examination period, in the weekends of 29/30 March, 5/6 April and 12/13 April 2014, between 8.00 and 20.00.

Whether you’re looking for a place to study where you can also discuss things with others (restaurant), a quiet place to work (hall and foyer) or somewhere to relax for a while with a cup of coffee or tea, TU Delft offers you all the facilities you need to study as effectively as possible, such as a workplace, network, printer, etc. Support from the Service Desk in the Library is also close at hand.

During the exam periods the TU Delft Library is often overcrowded. In TU Delft’s view, however, the university should be a place where students can prepare themselves optimally for their exams and it wants to offer extra facilities for this.

Because of its proximity and the connection to the Library, the Aula building will be made available to students looking for a place to prepare for examinations during these weekends. For reasons of controllability and security, and owing to financial aspects, the faculty buildings will remain closed during these weekends.
