Gemeente Delft richt voor de gemeenteraadsverkiezingen een stembureau in bij EWI waar je als inwoner van Delft je stem kunt uitbrengen (vanaf 18 jaar). Op je stempas staat een stembureau vermeld, maar je bent niet verplicht om daar te stemmen. Studeer je dus op 19 maart, dan kun je bij EWI op de Mekelweg 4 terecht om je stem uit te brengen.

Stemmen in een andere gemeente
Bij de verkiezingen voor de gemeenteraad is het niet mogelijk om te stemmen in een andere gemeente, dus als je geen inwoner van Delft bent, kun je niet stemmen bij EWI.

One of the polling stations for the municipal elections will be located in the Faculty of EEMCS and residents of Delft will be able to cast their vote there. Your official voting pass will indicate a polling station in the neighbourhood you live in, but you are free to cast your vote in any of the polling stations in Delft. So if you are studying on 19 March you can chose to vote at EEMCS (Mekelweg 4).

Voting in a different municipality
For the municipal elections it is not possible to cast your vote in a different municipality, so if you are not a resident of Delft you will not be able to cast your vote at the polling station at EEMCS.

Vrijdag 28 februari zijn voor de 5e keer de UfD-Cofely Energy Efficiency Awards uitgereikt. Studenten die innovatieve ideeën op de gebieden van duurzame energiebronnen, energiebesparing of CO-2 reductie hebben uitgewerkt tijdens hun master thesis maakten kans op deze prijs. De jury was verrast door het niveau van de inzendingen, maar toch waren er drie studenten die boven de anderen uitstegen. Lees verder op de website van het Universiteitsfonds.

On Friday 28 February the UfD-Cofely Energy Efficiency Awards were awarded for the fifth time. Students who worked on innovative ideas in the fields of sustainable resources, energy saving or CO-2 reduction during their master thesis stood a chance of winning this prize. The Jury was pleasantly surprised by the level of all submissions, but three students proved to be a cut above the rest. Continue reading on the UFD website.

The Introduction Programme is a 2-week compulsory programme (15-28 August) for all international students who are about to begin their studies at the TU Delft. Since its initiation in 2008 it has enjoyed a growing success and welcomed a record number of 977 students in summer 2013. For the 2014 introduction programme, we are looking for 3 assistants.
