Changes in tuition fee refund policy

Vanaf studiejaar 2015/2016 geldt er een wijziging in het Retributie- en inschrijvingsbeleid van de TU Delft voor wat betreft de restitutie van collegegeld. Voor uitschrijvingen per juli of augustus vindt er geen restitutie plaats. De laatste dag om voor restitutie in aanmerking te komen is 31 mei, met een verzoek tot uitschrijving per 1 juni.

Je doet altijd een verzoek tot uitschrijving per de 1^e van de opvolgende maand. Je ontvangt dan restitutie over de resterende maanden. Als je bijvoorbeeld op 13 februari een verzoek tot uitschrijving doet kan je worden uitgeschreven per 1 maart (of per 1^e van opvolgende maanden). Zie hier voor meer informatie.

TU Delft’s policy with regard to the refund of tuition fees is to change starting this academic year, 2015/2016. If you request unenrolment after the 31^st of May, per 1 July or 1 August respectively, you will not be entitled to a refund. The last day to be eligable for a tuition fee refund is 31 May, with an unenrolment request which has to be in effect 1 June.

You always have to request unenrolment per the 1^st of the next coming month. You will receive refund for the remaining months. For instance, if you request unenrolment on the 13^th of February, your enrolment may end on March 1^st.(or later dates if you wish, but always the first of the month)  For more information, click here.
