Allow us to introduce: food & drinks at the new and improved Fellowship
If you are used to studying at the southern part of the campus, you must have noticed that The Fellowship is undergoing some major renovations. Especially during the exam period, this inspiring (yes!) and motivating (absolutely!) study environment was missed. But, it’s all going to be worth it. Are you curious what deliciousness the New And Improved Fellowship will offer you? Read it here.
Until recently, the Fellowship offered a few food and beverages options, for instance vending machines which offered snacks and coffee. Well, that is about to change. In August, the all new ‘foodmarket’ of the Fellowship will be opened, offering three new food shops: ‘Satebar’, ‘La Casa Kitchen’ and ‘Soep en Ballen’.
Satebar is an Indonesian restaurant famous for their saté (satay in English). They offer a wide range of Indonesian dishes, with prices for main courses from €3,- up to €10,-. Next to food, the bar will also offer room to sit and enjoy your meal. Read more at their website.
Mama’s kitchen, ‘Mamma’s Cuccina’, or a home away from home. La Casa Kitchen offers fresh and healthy Mediterranean food. They stand for simple, honest and delicious food for an affordable price.
Everything at Soep & Ballen (S&B) is home-made and organic; an ode to fresh, delicious products. Freshly made soups and meatballs to die for. Or order a traditional Dutch classic, such as a cheese roll with mature Gouda or organic chips with home-made mayonaise. Their vending machine also means that you can buy tasty food at any time of the day.
As you can see, these restaurants are confident of what they will offer you. Excited to try them out in August? Have a taste and you might discover your new favorite place on campus.
