Your update on International Festival Of Technology

ifot

A few weeks ago, we invited you for the 3-day festival in Delft: International Festival of Technology. Meanwhile, the organisation did not sit still, so we have an update for you! Read more about the programme and line-up (among others, De Jeugd van Tegenwoordig) here.

The festival will last three days in total, with a different theme for each day. Wednesday, the 1st of June, will be all about health, sport and sport innovation. A campus run will be held for charities (Revalidatiefonds and Prinses Máxima Centrum). There will be guided tours of special places on campus including the anechoic chamber (the one that has no echo) and the labs to check out the latest creative TU Delft innovations.

Thursday the 2nd of June revolves around Cyber Security. During the seminar, you’ll step into the world of hacking. The Energy Island will offer answers to the question: who can generate more power: a human or a solar panel? What should the happy city of the future look like? Create it together with every other visitor of the festival.

Lastly, on Friday the 3rd of June, the grand finale will close off the festival. Music, art and technology around our Aula. Big names like Selah Sue, De Staat and De Jeugd van Tegenwoordig will perform.

Oh, and we almost forgot to mention the best thing: all activities of the festival are free and open for everyone. More info? Check out ifot-delft.com.
