Congrats to the TU Delft iGEM dreamteam
Congratulations to the TU Delft iGEM dreamteam! Yesterday they were awarded the grand prize in the International Genetically Engineered Machine (iGEM) competition during the award ceremony in Boston. The team developed a tool that enables farmers to test on-site if a cow suffering from a bacterial infection is infected with antibiotic resistant bacteria. Based on the output, the farmers can adapt their antibiotics usage, resulting in a more targeted treatment.
