TU Delft wants your feedback! Join the student panel!
Do you have an idea about how students experience studying at TU Delft and what TU students need during and outside their studies? Then we are looking for you!
To find out more about the sentiment among students on various student matters, such as the prospective student, the study climate, welfare and student communication, TU Delft is setting up a special student panel. What are your thoughts on these and other student matters? We would like to know. Your input will be used to better tune activities and communication to your perception and needs and those of your fellow students.
How does it work? In practice:
– The first 250 students who sign up as a panel participant will receive a TU Delft hoody (of course when you actively participate).
– You participate in the panel for 1 academic year
– Filling in the questions will take no more than 5 minutes
Interested to participate? Sign up now via this link.

Test with lower temperatures in TU Delft buildings
The thermostat is being lowered on the campus: the temperature in our buildings is being lowered to 19 degrees. With this lower temperature we are keeping high energy costs down and working towards our sustainability goal of becoming carbon neutral by 2030. This is a trial until 1 September that will be evaluated afterwards. For questions about this, please contact the service desks.

Join the challenge on 20-21 May to make all Delft homes gas-free
Scroll down for Dutch
One of the most important issues of our time is the transition from fossil energy to sustainable energy. But how can we encourage residents to make their homes gas-free? The ‘City Deal Knowledge Making’ – a partnership between the Municipality of Delft, The Hague University of Applied Sciences, Inholland University of Applied Sciences and TU Delft – organises a challenge for students to work on this issue.
Register now! Besides the fact that you can win a gift voucher, it will also be an educational weekend where you can gain new knowledge and skills. You will be divided into groups with students from various study programmes from different knowledge institutions to tackle the issue in a multidisciplinary way. Knowledge of and passion for sustainability issues is helpful, but not absolutely necessary.
More information about the challenge and registration can be found on the website.

Community policeman present in TU Delft Aula for free consults
Financial scams are prevalent in all around the globe. Unfortunately that is also the case in The Netherlands. Students, especially international students as temporary residents in a foreign country, are not immune to becoming victims of scams. An alarming article about TU Delft students cheated out of thousands of euros appeared yesterday in the Delta. Do you have questions about (financial) scamming? Are you a victim of house burglary? Or is your bike stolen? Drop by the community policeman in the TU Delft Aula. Every two weeks on Wednesday on 30 March, 13 and 27 April, 11 and 25 May, and 8 and 22 June from 11PM until noon you can visit a consultation hour in the Aula where a community policeman can give you free consultation about these topics.
