Help a fellow student for one hour a week. Become a Study Buddy!
Are you a senior TU Delft student and would you like to help out another student during these challenging times? As a Study Buddy you can support a fellow student with a request for help. You meet up (online) for 1 hour per week to discuss planning, to give advice on how to tackle a certain course or to have a cup of coffee on campus (with 1,5m distance). You determine the purpose and the duration of your teamwork with one of the coordinators of the project. We offer you an (Online) training on communication- and coaching skills with a certificate.

Who can be a Study Buddy?
• You’re a TU Delft senior student and you’d like an extra challenge during your studies
• You’re a good listener and you would like to help out a fellow student
• You’re available for 1 hour per week during the 2021-2022 academic year

What we offer
• The valuable experience of coaching and helping a fellow student
• (Online) training on communication- and coaching skills with a certificate
• Individual coaching by a Central Counsellor or Psychologist of the TU Delft

Help een medestudent. Word Study Buddy!
Ben je ouderejaars student en vind je het leuk om een medestudent te helpen in deze uitdagende periode? Geef je dan op als study buddy! Als buddy help je één Nederlandse of internationale medestudent met of zonder functiebeperking. Je spreekt een uur per week met elkaar af. Het kan dan gaan om hulp bij studieplanning, vakken aanpakken of gewoon een babbeltje.
Je spreekt onderling af wat het doel van de begeleiding is en hoe lang het traject duurt. Tijdens het traject wordt ook een training oplossingsgericht coachen aangeboden met certificaat.

Wat moet je in huis hebben als study buddy?
• je bent ouderejaars student aan de TU Delft en studeren gaat je goed af
• je kunt goed luisteren en je verplaatsen in anderen
• Je bent gedurende een half tot een heel studiejaar 1 uur per week beschikbaar

Wat bieden we je?
• de leerzame ervaring en de voldoening van het coachen van een medestudent
• (online) intervisie en/of themabijeenkomsten over coaching en communicatie
• een (online) training over oplossingsgericht coachen met certificaat

The opening hours of foods and drinks facilities will be different from July 5 till August 27 due to the summer.

Mytimetable is migrating to the cloud this summer. What are the advantages? It will allow easier updates and more possibilities such as push notifications.

The migration will be done on Monday 26 July. On this day ‘MyTimetable’ will not be accessible for 24hours, from the 27 July you will able to use it again.

In the category for students there is a great price to be won and participation will create promotion for your innovation. In de categorie studenten valt een mooie prijs te winnen en tegelijkertijd creëer je aandacht voor jouw innovatie door deel te nemen. Laat jij met normalisatie zien hoe jouw product, dienst, idee of project sneller van concept naar de markt wordt gebracht? Tot 15 september kun je je innovatie insturen!

During the summer period (starting Saturday, 10 July) you can study in the TU Delft Library without a reservation or time slot. Already reserved a study place? No worries! You are still welcome!
With the start of the new academic year or when new COVID measures are introduced, the reservation system will be back.

Unfortunately, the Library is still only open for TU students, as you must check in with your TU campus card.

Tijdens de zomerperiode (met ingang van zaterdag 10 juli) kun je zonder reservering of tijdslot studeren in de TU Delft Library. Al een studieplek gereserveerd? Geen zorgen! Je bent nog steeds welkom!
Met de start van het nieuwe studiejaar of wanneer nieuwe COVID-maatregelen worden ingevoerd, is het reserveringssysteem weer terug.

De Library is helaas nog steeds alleen open voor TU studenten, aangezien er ingecheckt dient te worden met een TU campuskaart.

Be sure to pick it up in time. Due to construction work, bikes parked on Kruithuiswegviaduct (right above the railway station) will be removed as of July 28th. You can park your bike on the forecourts of Delft Campus station.

GGD Haaglanden is holding consultation hours every evening from Monday 28 June to Friday 9 July 2021. The vaccination location in Delft is opened exclusively to provide the Janssen vaccinations between 6pm and 9pm.

Please call the national number 088-1295 to schedule an appointment. Be sure to mention you are from The Hague area and would therefore like to go to the vaccination location in Delft. It is located in the sports canteen of the former football club Delfia, at Mozartlaan 664, close to the Reinier de Graaf hospital.

The final episode of the first season of the Let’s talk about X podcast! Pepijn Kooij and Iris Damen from X TU Delft take this opportunity to talk with the ‘CEO’ of the TU Delft, the Rector Magnificus Tim van der Hagen, to reflect on last year and predict next year.

The last one and a half year were very odd and unusual, which we clearly all noticed as students. It was however not only tough for us, but also the board of the TU Delft (CvB), since they had to make tough decisions. X has invited a very special guest to their podcast this time, Tim van der Hagen, Rector Magnificus of the TU Delft. Iris and Pepijn will talk with him about the decisions he had to make during the pandemic and how he witnessed this strange year. How did he experience last year? What was the hardest to do? TU Delft also started certain projects regarding the pandemic, like the construction of relatively cheap respiratory devices. How did these projects start?

Of course, they will take a look at the future as well. What are the predictions for next year, what kind of changes will remain?
