Over Time Out:
“Bijbaan is opgezegd. Hoe betaal ik mijn huur, mijn studie?”
“Zo kan ik niet studeren. Voel me opgesloten.”

Update corona measures 13 October
The increasing number of infections has forced the government to carry out a partial lockdown. Unfortunately, new additional measures are again needed to reduce the number of infections. Educational activities are not being curtailed any further and we are pleased with that. NB: the new measures do however urgently recommend wearing face masks in public indoor areas.
We, therefore, ask all students and staff to wear face masks on campus when moving through common areas in buildings. This means upon entering when moving between spaces and when leaving a building. Once you are sitting in a lecture hall or workspace, you may remove your face mask.

Survey about education quality
Dutch below
—
We have now left the start of the academic year behind us. Studying at home is the norm and there is – especially for first-year students – the opportunity to receive physical education at most once a week. We are curious about your recent experiences, so that we can improve the educational situation where necessary. We appreciate it if you fill out this survey, it takes a couple of minutes! https://forms.gle/DEgraQNCiF9MYUFF9

Update corona measures 29 September
The Dutch government has announced stricter measures to curb the spread of the coronavirus. The government has stated that the increase in the number of infections among students mainly takes place outside the campus. Educational activities are not being curtailed any further and this is something we welcome.
We are doing everything we can to ensure that education, research and core processes can take place on campus as much as possible or else online and that the core processes continue to run smoothly.

In the following videos, Rob Mudde, Vice-Rector Magnificus, answers several questions from students. In video 1 he explains about the start of the academic year, COVID regulations and the quality of online education. In video 2, he answers questions including topics like minors, exchange programs, internships and financing.
