Open the gate! Or at least, design it

IFoT - Entrance gate 2015

The International Festival of Technology invites TU Delft, De Haagse Hogeschool and Inholland students to submit their most creative and innovative designs for the entrance to their festival site. The winners will get to see their design actually be built and receive some nice prize money.

The assignment
Design an awesome, sustainable, innovative, typically ‘Delft’ entrance for the festival site. No pressure. They’re looking for a ‘typical Delft design’. This means that the entrance first has to be functional as, you know, being able to enter the festival terrain. But it should also surprise the visitor with creativity and technological innovation. Go crazy! And by the way, collaborating with students from other educational institutes in or outside Delft in a single team is a plus. Check this website for more details and technical requirements of your entrance.

The International Festival of Technology
The International Festival of Technology will take place at our campus in Delft, from 30 May – 3 June 2016. The full programme will be posted to www.ifot-delft.com in March. In the meantime, check their social media for the line up!
