In term 3 of the academic year 2013-2014 (03 februari 2014 t/m 12 april 2014) the Utrecht Data School cooperates with LokaalMondiaal and Oxfam Novib in hosting a masterclass data journalism. This masterclass will investigate data concerning the roles of women in post-conflict areas. It is a 7,5 ECTS course with 20 hrs per week.

A team of motivated Bachelor’s and Master’s students will spend the summer of 2014 designing and building their OWN genetically engineered machine.
Wiskunde- en Mechanica Helpdesk weer open / Maths and Mechanics Helpdesk open again
Van 15 t/m 29 januari kunnen bachelorstudenten weer terecht in de Library voor gratis hulp bij het voorbereiden van hun wiskunde- en mechanicatentamens.

Van 10 januari t/m 30 januari 2014 is de Library weer extra extra lang open: elke dag van 08:00 tot 02:00.
De tentamens zijn begonnen! / The exams have started!
Met het begin van het nieuwe jaar begint ook weer een nieuwe tentamenperiode.
Neem op de tentamendag zelf je campuscard en je tentamenticket mee. Veel succes met de komende tentamens!
Vergeet niet om je op tijd in te schrijven voor je tentamen via Osiris, uiterlijk twee weken voor de dag van het tentamen. Kan of wil je het tentamen niet maken, schrijf je dan via Osiris tot 3 dagen voor het tentamen uit. Hiermee maak je een plaats vrij voor iemand die op de wachtlijst staat.

Don’t forget to register in time for your exams via Osiris, the deadline for registration is two weeks prior to the day of your exam. If you registered for an exam but are not planning on taking the exam, please unregister through Osiris. This is possible up to 3 days prior to the exam and with this you open up a slot in the exam hall for a student on the waiting list.

Lustrum Symposium Erfgoed & ICT Delft op 24 januari 2014
Stichting Nieuwe Meesters Delft presenteert op vrijdag 24 januari de vijfde editie van het Symposium Erfgoed & ICT Delft. Tijdens dit symposium komen drie werelden bij elkaar: erfgoed, onderzoek en ICT. De nadruk ligt hierbij op de samenwerking tussen deze disciplines. We laten onder andere zien welke innovatieve producten er de afgelopen vijf voor de Delftse erfgoedsector zijn ontwikkeld. Daarnaast kijken we vooruit naar nieuwe ontwikkelingen die toegepast kunnen worden op de erfgoedsector.
