Coming Tuesday, great entrepreneurs will visit Delft to tell their inspiring stories at the largest student entrepreneurship event of the Netherlands: the Entrepreneurship Forum. Also, the final of the STARTUP competition will be held on this evening. Six teams of students will perform their pitches in front of a jury in order to win big prizes. Is your Bachelor Paper Worth €2,500? Compete for the UfD-Damen Bachelor Awards!
Damen Shipyards and the Delft University Fund (UfD) are rewarding exceptional bachelor work at the Delft University of Technology. Since 2014, Damen grants € 12,500 to the creators of five excellent bachelor papers, €2,500 for each winning paper.

Het Universiteitsfonds Delft (UfD) en Damen willen excellent werk verricht in de bachelor belonen. Ieder jaar wordt er in totaal 12.500 euro toegekend ter bevordering van innovatieve technologie aan de Technische Universiteit Delft. Het bedrag zal uitgereikt worden aan studenten van de Technische Universiteit Delft die – individueel of in teamvorm – een uitmuntend bachelor eindverslag hebben geschreven. Per jaar worden vijf awards ter waarde van 2.500 euro toegekend.

Eind februari geen treinverkeer Delft CS / Disruption to trains at Delft Central Station in late February
Eind februari geen treinverkeer Delft CS
Reis je regelmatig met de trein richting de TU Delft? Houd er dan rekening mee dat er van zondag 22 februari t/m vrijdag 27 februari geen treinen tussen Den Haag, Delft en Schiedam rijden. Ook goed om te weten: het nieuwe busstation aan de voorkant van het station wordt op 15 februari in gebruik genomen.
Het is de bedoeling dat na deze werkzaamheden, op zaterdag 28 februari 2015, het nieuwe ondergrondse station en de nieuwe stationshal van Delft geopend worden en de eerste reizigerstrein door de nieuwe spoortunnel rijdt.

Elk jaar worden De Delftse Bedrijvendagen georganiseerd in de Aula. De Sodexo-kantine in de Aula is daarom gesloten van vrijdag 13 februari om 19.00 uur tot donderdag 19 februari om 12.00 uur.
Formula Student Team Delft needs your help!
Would you like to gain practical engineering skills, would you like to learn about composites, do you have spare time this semester, and would you like to collaborate in a Dreamteam? Formula Student Team Delft is searching for students that would be willing to laminate car body panels. The work is part-time and will proceed till the month of May. There are no entry requirements concerning your course of study, or concerning experience with composite materials. Training and support will be provided by the team.

Microsoft Outlook app blocked for TU Delft e-mail / Microsoft Outlook app voor TU e-mail geblokkeerd
The new Microsoft Outlook app, which you can install on your iOS or Android devices to retrieve e-mails from your TU Delft account, violates the security policy of TU Delft.
The app stores your NetID, password, e-mails, contacts, etc. on remote servers (in the cloud). TU Delft does not allow this because the risk of data abuse is too great. For this reason, starting from today, SSC ICT will block the Microsoft Outlook app for TU Delft e-mail servers. This means that you will not be able to retrieve e-mails from TU Delft via this app..
