Starting from academic year 2022/2023, TU Delft will change the collection periods for tuition fees from 12 months to 9 months. If you choose to pay in instalments, you will pay 1/9th of the tuition fees each month from September to May. This means that the collection amount will be higher each month (September to May). In the months of June, July and August there will be no more direct debits.

Wijziging incassotermijnen collegegeld van 12 naar 9 maanden

Met ingang van studiejaar 2022/2023 past TU Delft de incassotermijnen voor betaling van het collegegeld aan van 12 maanden naar 9 maanden. Kies je voor incassobetaling in termijnen, dan betaal je in de maanden september t/m mei maandelijks 1/9e deel van het collegegeld. Dit betekent dat het incassobedrag per maand (september t/m mei) hoger wordt. In de maanden juni, juli en augustus zullen er geen incasso’s meer plaatsvinden.

The GGD (public health service) is curious to know how you are doing. Are you sometimes lonely? Do you experience stress? And how has the corona period affected your life? Your answers help us to get a good picture of the health and well-being of young adults in the Netherlands. In this way, together with municipalities and the national government, we can give it a boost!

Are you between 16 and 25 years old and do you live in the Netherlands? Then participate in our survey!

There are no right or wrong answers. It’s about your opinion and your experiences. If you prefer not to answer a question, you can skip it. The questionnaire takes about 10 to 15 minutes to complete.

If you complete the questionnaire, you will also have a chance to win great prizes. We will raffle off the prizes among all participants who have completed the questionnaire. For example an iPad or flyboarding for 2 persons.

Make sure you register on time for your exams. This can be done in My.TUDelft.nl or via MyTUDelft app (previously called Osiris). If you do not do this, you will not be able to participate.

Registration closes six calendar days before the day of the exam in question. See the weekly overview below with the registration deadline.

Please note that there are no waiting lists and last minute exam registration is not possible. Remember exam registration will start at the start of each quarter, namely 8 weeks before the exam day.

Voor een  tentamen moet je je aanmelden. Je meld je aan in My.TUDelft.nl of via de MyTUDelft app (voorheen Osiris).

Zorg ervoor dat je je op tijd voor je tentamens inschrijft. Doe je dit niet, dan kun je niet deelnemen.

Dit kan tot 6 dagen voor de tentamendag. Zie onderstaand weekoverzicht met de deadline voor inschrijving.

Er zijn geen wachtlijsten en last-minute registratie is niet mogelijk. Om je voldoende tijd te geven wordt de tentamenregistratie aan het begin van elke periode geopend, namelijk 8 weken voor de tentamendag.

Are you a senior TU Delft student and would you like to help out another student during challenges during tier studies?

As a Study Buddy you can support a fellow student with a request for help. You meet up for 1 hour per week to discuss planning, to give advice on how to tackle a certain course or to have a cup of coffee on campus. You determine the purpose and the duration of your teamwork with one of the coordinators of the project. We offer you training on communication- and coaching skills with a certificate.

Who can be a Study Buddy?
•    You’re a TU Delft senior student and you’d like an extra challenge during your studies
•    You’re a good listener and you would like to help out a fellow student
•    You’re available for 1 hour per week during the 2022-2023 academic year

What we offer
•    The valuable experience of coaching and helping a fellow student
•    Training on communication- and coaching skills with a certificate
•    Individual coaching by a Central Counsellor or Psychologist of the TU Delft

Help een medestudent. Word Study Buddy!

Ben je ouderejaars student en vind je het leuk om een medestudent te helpen bok uitdagingen tijdens de studie? Geef je dan op als study buddy! Als buddy help je één Nederlandse of internationale medestudent met een ondersteuningsvraag. Je spreekt een uur per week met elkaar af. Het kan dan gaan om hulp bij studieplanning, vakken aanpakken of gewoon een babbeltje.
Je spreekt onderling af wat het doel van de begeleiding is en hoe lang het traject duurt. Tijdens het traject wordt ook een training oplossingsgericht coachen aangeboden met certificaat.

Wat moet je in huis hebben als study buddy?
•    je bent ouderejaars student aan de TU Delft en studeren gaat je goed af
•    je kunt goed luisteren en je verplaatsen in anderen
•    Je bent beschikbaar voor een uur per week gedurende het studiejaar 2022-2023

Wat bieden we je?
•    de leerzame ervaring en de voldoening van het coachen van een medestudent
•    Training in coaching en communicatie met eencertificaat
•    Individuele coaching door een student decaan of studenten psycholoog.

Soon it will no longer be possible to log in with only your NetID and the corresponding password. As of July 19, multi-factor authentication (MFA) will be activated for access to your TU Delft email. In this message you can find out what this means for you.

Security Measures
Almost every day TU Delft is dealing with cyber threats and hacking attempts. Recently, there has been an increase in these threats and hacking attempts. Recently we have taken various invisible security measures to ensure that your data and that of TU Delft remains safe. The first noticeable security measure that we will now take is the implementation of multi-factor authentication on email.

What is multi-factor authentication (MFA)?
Currently, using a username and password is sufficient to gain access to your email from TU Delft. As of July 19, additional security will be added. Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is an effective way to increase security for applications. In addition to a username and password, MFA also requires a security code in order to log in. For example, your bank’s mobile banking app probably uses this form of authentication. By taking one (quick) extra action, security is significantly increased.

How do I keep access to my TU Delft email?
To ensure that you retain access to your mailbox, we recommend that you use Outlook. Outlook is available on Windows, Mac and mobile phone and is the best fit for these (and future) security measures. Depending on the email program you use, settings must be adjusted in order to retain access to email. You can see which authentication methods are available and activated for you on the Security Info page of your Microsoft account. If no method has been set yet, you can set it immediately. If you need help with this, please contact the Service Desk.

Do you prefer an email client other than Outlook? Then in week 27 (4-8 July) instructions will become available on how you can keep access to your email with other email clients. These instructions will be sent by email during that week and can be found from then on under ICT manuals on tudelft.nl.

Belangrijk! Voorkom dat je niet meer bij je TU Delft mailbox kan

Binnenkort is het niet meer mogelijk om in te loggen met enkel jouw NetID en het bijbehorende wachtwoord. Met ingang van 19 juli wordt verificatie in twee stappen (MFA) geactiveerd voor toegang tot je e-mail van de TU Delft. In dit bericht lees je wat dit voor jou betekent.

Beveiligingsmaatregelen
Vrijwel dagelijks heeft de TU Delft te maken met cyberbedreigingen en hackpogingen. De laatste tijd is er een toename van deze dreigingen. Om jouw gegevens en die van de TU Delft veilig te houden, zijn er de afgelopen tijd verschillende niet merkbare beveiligingsmaatregelen genomen. De beveiligingsmaatregel waar je wel iets van gaat merken, is de invoering van verificatie in twee stappen op e-mail in juli.

Wat is verificatie in twee stappen (MFA)?
Momenteel is het gebruik van een gebruikersnaam en wachtwoord voldoende om toegang te krijgen tot jouw e-mail van de TU Delft. Met ingang van 19 juli wordt hier een additionele beveiliging aan toegevoegd. Verificatie in twee stappen, ook wel bekend als Multi-Factor Authenticatie (MFA), is een effectieve manier om applicaties extra te beveiligen. Bij MFA is er naast een gebruikersnaam en wachtwoord, ook een beveiligingscode nodig om in te loggen. Deze manier van inloggen wordt bijvoorbeeld ook gebruikt bij DigiD of de mobiel bankieren app van je bank. Het betreft één (snelle) extra handeling die jouw veiligheid aanzienlijk vergroot.

Hoe behoud ik toegang tot mijn TU Delft e-mail?
Om er zeker van te zijn dat jij toegang behoudt tot je mailbox raden we je aan om Outlook te gebruiken. Outlook is beschikbaar op Windows, Mac en mobiele telefoon en sluit het beste aan bij deze (en toekomstige) beveiligingsmaatregelen. Afhankelijk van het e-mail programma dat je gebruikt moeten er instellingen aangepast worden om toegang tot e-mail te behouden. Op de Security Info pagina van jouw Microsoft account kun je zien welke aanmeldmethoden voor verificatie in twee stappen voor jou beschikbaar en geactiveerd zijn. Indien er nog geen methode is ingesteld, kun je dat direct instellen. Heb je hierbij hulp nodig, ga dan naar het Servicepunt.

Wil of kun je geen Outlook gebruiken? Dan komen er in week 27 (4-8 juli) instructies beschikbaar hoe jij met andere e-mailprogramma’s toegang kunt behouden tot je e-mail. Deze instructies worden in die week per e-mail naar alle studenten verzonden en vind je vanaf dan terug bij ICT handleidingen op tudelft.nl.

Always check the source of the message if you don’t trust it or feel threatened.

Never rely on one single email or phone call before sharing information and simply verifying a phone number or email address is not enough before sharing your details. Check altijd de bron van de boodschap. Vertrouw nooit op één mailtje of telefoontje, maar vraag actief informatie op bij de overheid of de bank. Alleen een telefoonnummer of mailadres controleren is onvoldoende.

As part of a broader vision on mobility and campus accessibility, TU Delft is working on parking regulation. This regulation will apply to a large part of the campus: the parking lot at the Faculty of Architecture and the area between Jaffalaan / Rotterdamseweg / Heertjeslaan / Huismansingel / Schoemakerstraat. The new parking policy is expected to be implemented on campus in Q4 2022.

The assumptions:

1. We are moving from many separate parking spaces spread across the campus to six easily accessible parking locations on the edges of the campus.
2. As a motorist, you can quickly find a free parking space from the campus ring with the help of dynamic parking references.
3. The number of occupied parking spaces is counted on the basis of a digital access system, so as a driver you immediately know where there are still free parking spaces.
4. There are barriers at the entrances to the parking locations. You can read more about this below.
5. All parking locations are within walking distance of the building where you need to be.

What will change for you?
You can park for free at parking locations P1 to P6 from Monday to Friday between 08.00 and 18.00 for a maximum of 48 consecutive hours. Parking will remain free for students and employees associated with TU Delft for the time being, but we do want to encourage employees and students as much as possible to use other, more sustainable, means of transport. Non TU Delft Campus-related motorists can park for a fee. Long-term parking such as parking trailers and campers is prevented; there is a maximum of 48 consecutive hours of parking. After these 48 hours, the parkers within the primary target group also have to pay (parking rate of € 2.00 per hour, with a maximum of € 10.00 per day).

The parking rights on the campus card are valid as long as the student has an (active) campus card. When the campus card is terminated, the parking right can no longer be used.

How can you drive in and out later
There are two options for entering and exiting the barrier.Hold your TU Delft campus card against the card reader of the barrier;

Have the registration number of your car linked to your campus card. This makes it possible to enter and exit the parking locations according to license plate. Registration for your license plate is done via a self-service portal in the future.

Parkeerbeleid TU Delft Campus
Als onderdeel van een bredere visie op mobiliteit en de bereikbaarheid van de campus, werkt de TU Delft aan parkeerregulering. Deze regulering zal gelden voor een groot deel van de campus: het parkeerterrein bij de faculteit Bouwkunde en het gebied tussen de Jaffalaan / Rotterdamseweg / Heertjeslaan / Huismansingel / Schoemakerstraat. Het nieuwe parkeerbeleid wordt naar verwachting in Q4 2022 ingevoerd op de campus.

De uitgangspunten:

1. We gaan van vele losse parkeerplekken verspreid over de campus, naar zes gemakkelijk te bereiken parkeerlocaties aan de randen van de campus.
2. Als automobilist vind je vanaf de campusring, met behulp van dynamische parkeerverwijzing, snel een vrije parkeerplek.
3. Het aantal bezette parkeerplaatsen wordt geteld aan de hand van een digitaal toegangssysteem, zo weet je als automobilist direct waar nog vrije parkeerplaatsen zijn.
4. Bij de ingangen van de parkeerlocaties staan slagbomen. Hieronder lees je hier meer over.
5. Alle parkeerlocaties bevinden zich op loopafstand van het gebouw waar je moet zijn.

Wat verandert er voor jou?
Je kan van maandag t/m vrijdag tussen 08.00 en 18.00 uur voor een maximum van 48 uur aaneengesloten gratis parkeren op de parkeerlocaties P1 t/m P6. Voor studenten en medewerkers die verbonden zijn aan de TU Delft, blijft het parkeren vooralsnog gratis, wel willen we medewerkers en studenten zo veel mogelijk stimuleren om andere, duurzamere, vervoersmiddelen te gebruiken. Niet TU Delft Campus-gerelateerde automobilisten kunnen parkeren tegen betaling. Lang-parkeren zoals het stallen van aanhangers en campers wordt tegengegaan; er geldt een maximum van 48 uur aaneensluitend parkeren. Na deze 48 uur moeten ook de parkeerders binnen de primaire doelgroep gaan betalen (parkeertarief van € 2,00 per uur, met een maximum van €10,00 per dag).

De parkeerrechten op de campuskaart zijn geldig zolang de student beschikt over een (actieve) campuskaart. Bij beëindiging van de campuskaart is het parkeerrecht niet meer te gebruiken.

Hoe kan jij straks in- en uitrijden
Er zijn twee mogelijkheden om in-en uit te rijden bij de slagboom.

1. Houd je TU Delft campuskaart tegen de paslezer van de slagboom;
2. Laat het kenteken van jouw auto koppelen aan jouw campuskaart. Hierdoor is het mogelijk om op kenteken in- en uit te rijden op de parkeerlocaties. De aanmelding voor jouw kenteken gaat straks via een selfserviceportaal.

Heb je net je diploma behaald? Gefeliciteerd!

In Mijn diploma’s kun je gratis een digitaal uittreksel van je behaalde diploma downloaden. Dit uittreksel is een officieel document en kun je gebruiken als bewijs van het oorspronkelijke diploma. Bijvoorbeeld bij de aanmelding voor een vervolgopleiding, bij sollicitaties en bij verlies of diefstal.

Inloggen op Mijn diploma’s
Je kunt je diplomagegevens bekijken door in te loggen op Mijn DUO. Hiervoor heb je een DigiD nodig. Als je bent ingelogd, kun je een uittreksel met je diplomagegevens downloaden. Dit uittreksel is een officieel document en geldig bewijsstuk van je behaalde resultaten. Het heeft een echtheidscertificaat, dat bewijst dat het document origineel is en door DUO is afgegeven. Gebruik het digitale uittreksel alleen digitaal, want printen maakt het document ongeldig.

Ga je verder studeren?
Onderwijsinstellingen kunnen de gegevens in Mijn diploma’s inzien. Zo kunnen ze direct bepalen of je de goede vooropleiding hebt voor je nieuwe opleiding. Vraagt de instelling toch om een bewijs dat je je diploma hebt behaald? Dan kun je een uittreksel van Mijn diploma’s mailen.
